heyy. yeah. i play guitar. been plain for some 3 months, and in my opinion. no you dont. acoustic is more of a relax form of plain. it will never give you a metal, rock sound. and electric is much easier, since the strings are closer to the finger board. now you could learn acoustic, if your awesome at that , youll pick up the electric in one hour.
