Use a wider neck guitar. I learned on a classic guitar, full size, nylon strings. After mastering this one (chords and arpeggios) I bought an electric guitar. Of course, I kept my classic to keep improving my fingers.

I’ve been taking lessons for like three months now and I can’t do ONE chord 100% perfect. :K The best tip I’ve gotten was to cut my fingernails very short, but that only helps so much. Anyone here have better tips? LEMME KNOW!

yea but u cant do that until your finger tips get stronger..like callus on them. your fingers will be more relaxed once your tips get stronger and you can switch chords easily
